Locally sourced hardwood logs (Eucalyptus and Acacia) are debarked and placed in the rotary peeling lathe machine. It peels logs into continuous thin veneer sheets of 1.7mm-2.0mm thickness with high consistency.
Veneers are passed through automated thermal conveyor dryers to reduce moisture content below 10%. Wet veneers will decay, so drying is crucial. After drying, veneers are manually sorted into A, B, and C grades.
Dry core veneers are coated with high-quality adhesive (Phenolic WBP, Melamine WBP, or MR) via rolling glue spreaders. The veneers are then cross-laminated perpendicularly to maximize structural strength and prevent warping.
Assembled veneer layers go through a pre-press (cold press) to consolidate form, followed by the industrial hydraulic Hot Press machine. Heat (120-140°C) and pressure (12-15 MPa) activate the glue, forming permanent bonds.
